Our Thought, Our Story
Our basic idea has always been to do something that offers a place for people to meet and gather under the branches of the tree, enjoy good food and find a beneficial break from everyday life.


From Hummus to Hummussapien
Our hummus journey began long before we opened our first restaurant in Stockholm, but once here it was exactly what we were missing from Stockholm's offerings.
Reggev Hummus opened in 2006 on Södermalm and we were then, and perhaps still are today, pioneers in pure hummus restaurants in Sweden.
In 2017 it was time to expand and we opened another restaurant in Vasastan, Reggev Hummus Ginga. There we have had the opportunity to add new dishes and we do our larger catering from here.
We have created restaurants with hummus as our main specialty. We strive to create an environment where everyone can sit down and enjoy a healthy and affordable meal, where everything is made from scratch with good ingredients.
As the first hummus restaurant, we offer you something unique, where we want you to feel welcome and at home. With experience and care, we prepare your meal in a lovely and positive environment, where our goal is that you are satisfied and content, having received nourishment for both body and soul.

Our cookbook
"Hummus"
Take the chance and cook our food at home. In our cookbook we have included almost all the dishes on the menu and much more. We go through in depth how we cook and how you can do it at home.
The book contains around 50 recipes, including 18 dishes with hummus as the main course, and step-by-step instructions for everything from cooking chickpeas to the basic recipe for hummus, falafel, pita bread and baklawa.
